VDH Website?

I had an email exchange sometime ago with Rob but does anyone know if the VDH website will again be active? I have repeatedly tried to sign in without success and know it was in danger of ending but has the website gone for good? Ton of valuable information and knowledge on that site.

As the recently appointed global moderator for the VDH forum site I can assure you it is up and running and will be for the foreseeable future. All of the manuals and catalogs are still there. www.vintagedoublehose.com

Mark thanks but as a person already registered sometime ago this is the reply a got when trying to login on the VDH forum:

"The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator."

I am probably missing something and would appreciate assistance logging in....thanks.

Hi Phil,

After Bryan passed, the website, and in particular the forum, got an overhaul by our webmaster. There were about 1500 accounts deleated at that time for being "inactive." That just meant that we couldn't verify the log-in credentials on those accounts. Unfortunately, yours may have been one of them.

I just looked and it looks like there is no Wallowa on the current list. Were you registered under a different nom de plume? That said, our webmaster advised anyone who wanted to join the forum again to simply re-register. Pain in the butt I know. Sorry for any inconvenience. M

OK tried that, used the same username but re-registered with a new password. Rejected as "Username in use"....changed username...rejected again..."email address in use".....can't change email address; now what?

Ok, something's obviously wrong. Kindly PM me your email address and I'll get in touch with our webmaster directly. Same user name as here on SB? Might take a few days to get a response as he has a real job and volunteers his time on the VDH site. I will get this fixed for you. Mark
