I'm a Fish!
Here are some photos from a trip I took to the Keys. We hit up the Vandenberg, Spiegel Grove and the Eagle.

Nice pics but do they belong in the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew forum?

Nice Pics Thanks

Nice pics. I've dove the grove still need to get down to dive the Vandenberg.

I would like to read a report on your dive on the Vandenburg. Especially using a dive operator, expense, etc. I am hearing mixed reviews from folks who have been on the ship. Everything from being nickeled and dime to death by operators and to many folks on the boat at once, to wow that was a great dive and it is better then the Spiegal.

Reports. We want reports. Great photos and thanks for sharing.

As somebody who has been splitting time in the last year between the Keys an MI, I can give you a lot of insight into diving in the Keys. The Vandy is certainly more expensive to dive than the Upper Keys Wrecks (and certainly more than going out further North in Jupiter or West Palm) by $20 or so. Additionaly the conditions are pretty variable in KW with 30-50' vis being the Summer norm - current is always a issue, but on my July trip we were blessed with a mild stern to bow flow. That said the ship has a great profile and will only get better with time.

A favorite shot from the Duane (the best wreck the Keys has to offer).
