My buddy and I had a great shore at Madrona Point , vis was over 70 feet ! We saw 2 pairs of wolf eels and 3 octo's on the main wall .It only cost us the gas in the truck , no boats to ride or pay for, no crowds (the only two there ) For more local dive info go see the great people at S.O.S. scuba in Naniamo.:D

I had similar experience at Madrona when I was there for a holiday visiting from Holland.
Definetly worthwhile diving!
