I've also heard of caves up on the Sunshine Coast...one near Okeover (in Powell River) i believe, but it requires a boat. I don't know anything else about it though.

It's more of a really big overhang than a cavern or cave.
 
I've heard of caves around the island such, but I've also heard that they are dark and unpleasant places with limited or no viz. Essentially, lots of work and risk with little or no reward.

I think the reward aspect needs to be judged on an individual basis:wink:
