Just curious to know if anyone has valve schematics in pdf format, or any other for that matter. We've been servicing a load of valves lately and we've run out of working examples. It would be ideal to have them for the most popular brands such as thermos, ocean dynamics, and sherwood.

Thanks

Michael

Your post doesn't make sense. You're an instructor who's been servicing alot of valves but needs an example of how they go together?? If you don't know the specs, hire someone who does.

They are all basically the same with either a crush washer under the bonnet nut or an O-ring. Torque specs for the bonnet nut are in the neighborhood of 35ft-lbs depending on manufacturer. For the burst disk, 7.5ft-lbs.

here's an example:

The bonnet nut is #4, the burst disk (on back) #12

thats a nice pic and should get you to where you need to be.

If not, I have allways found alot of info on frogkick.dk you should get at least all the sherwood service manuals etc

Thanks everyone! That's exactly what I needed! Frogkick.dk is super cool as well.

Enjoy,

Michael
