Hi,
I've bought an old ('92) Seeman Sub valve on ebay. I've mounted it to a 1.5Liter pony bottle. At the first test before flying to Egypt for holiday it was OK, filled the bottle at my LDS, breathed it empty. Down in Egypt there was no way to get air in. As if the valve wouldn't open. Demounted it completely - everything looked okay, could blow air through all holes. Back to Berlin - same problem.
Told it to a guy in my diving club. He found the bore at the inlet was quite far at the edge. Maybe somehow the O-Ring of the filling hose has a problem with that.
Has anyone ever heard about that?
