Nice, I got to dive the Titan 1 complex here in WA right before it closed. It's a shame the land owner doesn't want anyone on their property anymore.

The shop that books the trip sets the requirements, but typically that's all they require. Personally I think it's too much for a brand new 5 dive baby diver. It requires at least a 7 mil wetsuit if not a drysuit. It's deep, it's dark, and it's a lotta stairs to get up and down. A lot of stressors for a brand new diver that got certified in more ideal conditions. Sometimes shops offer specialties as part of your package. Just depends on the shop.
So any dive shop can book it tho?I am one of the owners of the missile silo. The dive shop that books the trip sets their own price depending on what amenities they provide. We do not lease to private individuals, only to a dive shop who can provide insurance for the group. We also will put people on a list and if any shops are looking for extra divers to go with their group, we will contact you. That doesn't happen but maybe twice a year. If you want on the list, contact us through Dive Valhalla Missile Silo FB page or www.familyscuba.com
Sounds like I need to start my own dive shopYes.
How about a dumbwaiter or some sort of pulley system for gear only?Haha, heard that a couple of times. No one is willing to fund it.
The owner mentioned in another thread that it's just vertical. Was this mainly a vertical dive or was there any outward exploration to be done?
