Somebody has an idea were we can spend 2 or 3 days close to dallas were can we dive on the ocean i hear that galvestong is to ruff and we dont have a lot the experience we been in the ocean before but never from a boat . i will like to drive 8 to 10 hours because i whant to take my sea kayak so i can dive and paddle

from the Gulf, and as far as I know, there's not a good shore dive to be found anywhere withing 8-10 hours of Dallas. You might make a 4 hour drive to Lake Travis in Austin and do some fresh water diving. Take that kayak to the rivers south of Austin and explore the rivers. Maybe one of the Austin gang will chime in and let you know the best spot to launch for a good ride and dive.
