UWL-H100 LD hood visible in full wide pics

All,

Today I took my rig to a pool to practice. It's composed of a NA-RX100II housing with an UWL-H100 lens on LD mount, with dome+hood. The lens connect to the housing via a Fix adapter.

If you look at the (horrible) practice pic below, you'll see that the hood is visible in the pic.



Also, you'll notice that the hood is not in the right position. Is the bad position causing the hood to be visible? So do I just need to rotate the hood? I bought the lens used with the hood on the dome, both affixed to the lens. I hope rotating the hood isn't going to be too tricky...

The lens should have come with a small allen key to rotate the hood. You should be left with the very small vignetting in the upper left and lower right corners
You can also rotate the adapter changing the thumb screw but I would recommend getting that as tight as possible then position the thumb screw and finally adjust the hood

I rotated the hood. I have the Fix adapter, I can't rotate it - it only goes one position. Thank you!

(Let me get this out the way 1st--I'M NO EXPERT, by any means....but)...The pic seems very clear, just not much WA 'effect?' present??........Is the WA lens sitting the 'proper' distance from the housing ie camera???.......(& the hood is not @ the correct direction in your pic---rotate it per instructions with the lens)

Here's almost the same shot with a UWL-04 I have----no hood seen & wider field shot........dunno what's the problem, hope you get it fixed though......

Fix adapter can be adjusted. The release should be 90 degrees on left so you can unlock lens
The two lenses are comparable the UWL-04 is wider on the horizontal and narrower on the diagonal (more fisheye effect)
