Hi team,

I'm upgrading my camera system for a dive trip this month and was hoping you could help me with some queries on equipment compatibility so that I can buy your lens.
  1. Can anyone please confirm compatibility between the UWL-400F wide angle wet lens and the Ikelite LX10 housing (which as I understand has a slightly different 67mm thread that requires a particular base ring on the larger UWL-09).

  2. If so, is it only the 52-67mm step ring that is required and what is the required zoom in to eliminate vignetting using this?

  3. Is that step ring supplied with the lens if requested for that housing?

  4. Is the 400F (and any step ring) secure on the Ikelite housing with the shallower wet lens thread?

  5. Also, can you use full zoom capability during dive?

  6. Is the 400F compatible with any quick release adaptor?

Many thanks
Alex

Alex B how did you make out on your dive trip? Which wet lens did you eventually settle on for the trip?? How are you doing with the LX-10?
