Looking for a way to erase the previous dives. I know this should not be simple to do, but the thing remembers all of its dives, and all of the "test" dives that they did at manufacturer also. There are 9 dives that keep appearing every time I d/l and I end up having to erase them each time I d/l to the computer. Also, once dive trip my wife and I inadvertantly switched computers so she has 4-5 dives of mine on her computer and vice versa. This causes several extra dives to show up on the d/ls.

Since we are in a dry period right now, I thought it would be nice to purge them and that way we don't have the confusion on the logbooks.

Any suggestions?

When you download the computer, there should be a window that asks for ALL DIVES or NEW DIVES ONLY. Select new dives only.

Transfer Dives

Use Transfer to transfer the dives from your dive computer.
You can transfer all dives or new dives only. When all dives are transferred, each transferred dive is checked against dives in the logbook and if it exists already, the transferred dive is discarded.

See the section on how to set-up and configure an IrDA device if you do not have an IrDA device installed.

Transferring new dives
Press Dives/Transfer to bring up the transfer window. Choose Only new dives to transfer new dives only.

Transferring all dives
Press Dives/Transfer to bring up the transfer window. Choose All dives to transfer all dives in the dive computer.

Remember to check out both the dive template and default buddy, gear, type, activity and fish to find out how you can change the default behaviour when the dive is created.

Discard dives shallower than
You can select this option and define a minimum depth for transferred dives. All dives, which are shallower then set limit, will not be written into logbook after transfer.
