I'm a Fish!
After a catastrophic failure of my Mares Nemo during a night dive (see my post in near misses), I am in the market for a new dive computer. I have limited my options to the Smart Tec and the D9, but I need some other opinions on which one will be the most reliable/user-friendly. I am currently a recreational diver with hopes of doing some beginner wreck diving in the future -- any thoughts? Thanks

Scott

Either one is over your requirement for a rec. diving. I am using D9 though.
It doesn't have three sync functions unlike Smart Tec. If you don't need much navigation, the digital compass will be fine. The small wrist design is good for an occasional travel. Check out “Search function.” It has been well covered here. You can’t miss anything.
