Is there any real difference (besides cosmetic) between:

the older Uwatec Digital Depth Gauge, this one:

and the newer Uwatec Digital Depth Gauge 330M, this one:

The older gauge only reads to 100m, while the new one reads to 330m.

The new one also shows you the average depth.

If you're trying to figure out which one to buy, then go for the new one.

The batteries aren't really replaceable in those timers, so if you buy one of those old ones, you may not be able to use it for all that long.

Unless you can get an old one really cheap, you might want to think about bypassing the BT and getting an aladin tec2g computer. It can be put in gauge mode (and thereby tell you the same info as the BT), and they cost about the same.

I found an old version that was 70 bucks and it will make a very nice BT to add to my collection as a backup, but I use my Aladin tec2g mostly as my primary everything.
