I cant be certain, but there is no low battery icon, and the device, including the mount is in great condition.

Sadly this is the imperial version, and can not be switched to metric.

I ask because you can't replace the battery. It is supposed to be good for ten years or so based I think on 100 dives a year? The one I have now is nearing that mark and looking to replace it before it dies and becomes a paperweight. Not looking to do that with one that has maybe a year left on it.

Jim - my experience with Uwatec is that the when the batteries get old, they will fail completely without warning.

However, I know people that have changed their batteries in the dive computers. Perhaps you can in yours.

Not worried about it. Got one less than 5 yrs old in exchange for a back up light. Looks like new and even has the original box.
