I've read a few posts saying to wait till you get there and check them out. But I only have a week for diving and will be getting there on a Saturday afternoon and want to start diving Sunday morning and its pretty tough to judge an operation from shore on a Saturday afternoon. I'm staying in town on the east side of the bay at the Lighthouse the 1st week in May. Looking for a smaller dive op with experienced staff, relatively fast boats that go to the north side in the morning and cruise for whalesharks for a surface interval and diving with other experienced divers. Maybe I'm asking too much? I've stayed and dove with Utila Lodge and Laguna Beach a couple years ago and thought both were pretty good. Any input would be appreciated. I'm already having trouble breathing above water only a couple weeks back from Bonaire.
