UTD is dedicated to conducting projects on a worldwide basis (more information on past and current projects).
These are goal orientated dives that contains a specific set of objectives such as identification, exploration, video/photography documentation, mapping and survey, scientific data collection, water quality, specimen collection and so on.
These allow us to collaborate with local governments, biologist, scientist, universities, and interested parties.

This week, April 15 - 17, 2012, we are fortunate enough to be collaborating with California Academy of Sciences and the US Forestry Service on conducting a survey and collection project on a cave system located in the mountains in Northern California. We are unable to disclose the specifics of the cave so we call it Cave #2 for the time being, but more details to come. (More information about the cave can be found at Cave #2, California USA - Unified Team Diving).

We have just released a written blog about the preparation and planning that went into the project, as well as a video blog and some images from the journey to the location. We certainly hope you enjoy and stay tuned as we will attempt to release as much information as we can throughout the project.

We finally put up some of the Results from the UTD Cave #2 - Hall City Cave Project. There are the UTD daily blogs from the project - Day 1, 2, 3. These are great to watch and follow along as the project unfolded. As we were up in the mountains and had no internet we were unable to upload these daily :(. We have also included a daily image gallery from the project. These are fun shots of the project and getting the equipment into the cave :). We have also put up some footage from the camera that went on the dives. This footage shows some of the cave and how small and tight things were. Also there is a written blog discussing the tools that we used to conduct this project. Still to come are the interview video's done by the UFS and the official report and scientific findings from the California Academy of Sciences.

We certainly hope you will enjoy these results fromt he project and stay tuned for any updates.
