For those of you interested in wrecks in Okinawa.

Asahi.com carried a story about Chuck DeCesari and colleagues' effort on the determining who piloted the sunken plane found near the USS Emmons.

Initially the plane was thought to be a Zero, but the engine block pointed to Ida (Ki-36). The plane is likely one of the four or five Kamikazes that hit the Emmons, ultimately leading to her scuttling.

It's a facinating wreck and feel privilaged to be able to dive it. WWII has always held a great amount interest for me and I love being able to see something real from that era and not just hear about it.
I wish I could read the article, lols, I can read hiragana & katakana but very,very little kanji :D Thanks for sharing.
