Hi. My name is Lorraine Longshaw. I am a descendant of Dr. William Longshaw. He was a cousin. I read on a post that the ship, The Uss Longshaw was found. Does any one have pictures of the ship? What was the condition? Thank you! Mrs. Lorraine Longshaw Harrietha

But there is not much information.

Your ancestor sounds like a very good and brave man.

You might try contacting the Department of the US Navy for information about the wreck. If it has been found (and the discovery was reported) then it would be considered a war grave and they would have a record.
