Oceanic OCI users: The Oceanic OCI transmitter should be mounted over and behind the left shoulder. I want to have back-up instruments for safety. I'm in a quandary because with two high press. ports on my Onyx , that requires moving the trans. to the other side .Will the radio conn. to the wrist be adequate?

It should be fine...
I have a Suunto and the transmitter is on the right, and small spg is on the left of the 1st.

You can also get an adapter (divegearexpress.com & Northeastscubasupply ) and turn one port into two.......The Apeks DS4's only have one HP port and I use an adapter to use both a trans. and an SPG....You can also get LP adapters which can help w/hose routing.......

Just make sure you do use a back up gauge.

I was on dive 3 of 4 and my tx said no signal.
Just reverted to the analog gauge, and went about my dive as usual.
