I am not sure this is vintage but I was hoping someone here could identify what model this is so I can look for a manual on how to service it. Thanks

Frogkick has discontinued sherwood manuals, try the SRB 3100 manual. However, any of the older Sherwood 2nds are the same, minor cosmetic differences. I tear them down, ultrasonic clean, relube or replace the o-rings, flip the LP seat if necessary, reassemble, and adjust. No special tools required, and not many parts involved.

Sherwood's may not be the best performers, but they are rock solid reliable.

You only need two tools in life – WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the Duct Tape

I did find a Brut 2100 manual on line. Is that close enough to what I will find when I open this up or would the SRB 3100 be better?

Shouldn't make a difference, from my experience the internals of all the old Sherwood 2nds are the same but removing the covers may vary.

There is no problem that can't be solved with a liberal application of sex, tequila, money, duct tape, or high explosives, not necessarily in that order.

Apart from the much younger Maximus any of the round plastic 2nd stage manuals will have what you need.
Later Magnums added a roller demand lever, Oasis and Blizzard added heat exchanger fins.

I also picked up a Maximus 5600 1st and 2nd. Any impute on how to service that?

This cover should unscrew, but may have a small metal tab that needs to be removed that prevents it from unscrewing underwater. Use a small flat strewdriver to get under the tab, lift it up and remove it. I have a Sherwood Magnum Blizzard that has the same look, and so I think you'll find it easy to remove the cover (they call it a "bazzle") and diaphragm. Now, to get the LP seat out, you really need to use two wrenches to ensure that you apply pressure only against the metal fittings, and not against the plastic case. This is in the "Note" in the instructions for disassembling the second stage, step #4. Be sure to abide by it or you could crack the second stage housing. This is actually a pretty good regulator. I upgraded mine to have the roller lever on the second stage, and it performs were well.
