Usds ????

My father certified many moons ago. I have been trying to get him to come back to the fold with us, but it has been a long trial.

I asked him what agency he certed with and he answered - USDS. Do any of you know of this agency and whether it is still around and how to find out if his certs are still out there anywhere?

I wonder if it could have been NASDS? That is the closest match I can think of.

If it was NASDS, they merged with SSI and no longer exist, but I would think you could still get the cert records through SSI.

Never heard of USDS. NASDS was absorbed by SSI & replacement cards can be obtained through them. I had to do that last year.

If he doesn't have a C-card, dive log or something for proof of his certification then he'll have to redo the course regardless of who he certified with.

USDS is how they abbreviate United States dollars in some countries, maybe he got certified with PADI.
