OK guys, it's 2017 - let's talk about your USB cable pricing.

$90 for a cable? We're in a world where more and more DC's have bluetooth for a free connection, or are offering inexpensive $20 cables (deep6's new computer).

Even the other guys who are screwing us with cable pricing (Suunto/Mares) are slightly more gentle - in the $50-60 range.

I'm close to considering a Veo or Geo 2.0, but the cable is a dealbreaker.

Can I afford it? Easily. But honestly, it's just insulting, greedy, and makes me feel like I'm being taken advantage of. And for that reason, I won't buy your $300 dive computer.

This has been discused hundreds of times.

I'll sell you one for 60 plus shipping.

When the download kit came out it was $150 back in the day of parallel ports. The cable includes the cost of the software development and updates.
