Can anyone help me identify a US Divers regulator that looks like a cement mixer? One of them is bright chrome and the other is sort of a frosted chrome. Thanks for the help.

Probably need to post pics. List number of HP & LP, etc. ports. Many of the early USD
regs all look very similar.

I assume you’re talking first stage. Without a picture, it’s hard to be certain, but two that come to mind are the older Pro Diver, which looks a bit like a squatty cement mixer, and the more recent Titan which looks more like a wide vase (to me). On both of these, the hoses come out at other than perpendicular to the central axis, but it’s more pronounced on the Pro Diver, at almost 45 degrees.

I guess it would help to have more info. 1 hp port 4 lp ports second stage is black plastic with JM Cousteau Royal Aqua lung on purge button

Four low pressure ports eliminates the Pro Diver. Sounds like it could be a Titan first and a Cousteau (from the XLC series) second. The word Royal has me wondering if it might be a European version.

When you take it in for service, the dealer should be able to be more definitive.

My Pro Diver has 4 LP ports, and I'd say it looks more like a flying saucer than a cement mixer. Lots of these older US diver and Aqualung regs have mixed 1st and second stages as people have replaced stuff over the years. What does it say on the end of the yolk fitting on the 1st stage?
