Does anyone else have their XTX200 1st stages positioned upside down on the tanks for better hose streamlining? The LP hose ports are angled up in the normal position and seem to make the hoses stick out to the sides a little. I turned mine upside down and now the hoses seem alot more streamlined as the ports are angled slightly down now. Anyone else do this???? Also mine are rigged -Rightside- 2nd stage(primary) on the outside(short hose) and the wing inflator hose on the inside crossing over, and a SPG. Leftside-- drysuit inflator and long hose(7ft) octo on the outside, long hose is bungeed on side of left tank. I like it streamlined but how do you guys have your xtx200s set up?

I've never seen them riged like that, the post above shows the common alignments & hose routings. FSTs or DSTs are more common in my experience. I have Tek3s on my doubles and a pair of FSTs that I will use for independants, mounted sideways

Not sure if you mean right/left looking from the front of the set or the back... conventional terminology is looking from the back, and normal routing is primary (long hose) from the right post and secondary (short hose) & SPG from the left post, bungeed under your chin

I'd do it that way if I were you, I don't see any advantage to reversing it (if that's what you meant) and it will mean your valve drills will be backwards to what everyone is used to which could create problems for you and I don't like the long hose bungeed on the tank, pretty hard to restow amongst other things

200 are sideways on my doubles too. If I use one on my singles I mount it upside down, but that's for the extra half inch of head room it provides.

Not sure I understand your hose routing description, but mine are like Tortugas', primary (long hose) & inflator from the right post and secondary (short hose) & SPG from the left post, bungeed under your chin.
