Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows how I could get in contact with Mike Robertson from the old Upper Canada Scuba. My sister and I never got our certification cards from him and have been trying to track him down ever since the store closed.

I did read an old thread containg some info on him working at Climb/Dive in Scarborough but when I called them I couldn't get through, so just wondering if this info. is still current.

Thanks so much for any help!

Mike's not with Climb&Dive any longer... he actually runs a Hydro station which is in the back of the welding shop next to Climb&Dive.

The best way to contact Mike is to go there directly

www.climbtoronto.com

Never been there myself, but the website doesn't make any mention of divnig. Came across it when looking for caving groups in the area who practice single-rope technique (SRT)

OK! we need to clarify this topic, Mike Robertson was the person who was in partnership with Brian at climb/dive Toronto, they both built the climbing gym and after a year Mike decided he would rather pursue a business in Hydro static testing of scuba cylinders and the servicing of SCBA systems etc etc. Today Brian is the sole owner of climb Toronto and I do not believe he has pursued the diving end of things since Mike moved on. Currently Toronto Hydro stat is located in the same building but in the rear. In Jan of 2005 The facility will be moving into a newer larger facility north of the city.

Hope this helps
