ScubaBoard sends out a number of emails including thread and private message notifications, newsletter and various updates.
If you no longer wish to receive these messages you can optout by doing one of the following:
To stop receiving any emails:
Go to www.scubaboard.com/optout.php and enter your email address. Leave the first option checked to be removed entirely from the email database.
To stop receiving the monthly newsletter:
Go to www.scubaboard.com/optout.php and enter your email address. Select the second checked to be removed entirely from the newsletter list only.
To stop receiving thread notifications:
Go to http://www.scubaboard.com/subscription.php? and check each thread or forum you no longer wish to receive updates for. You can then change the type of subscription (instant, daily, weekly, no email) or remove them entirely. To update your default susbcription settings used when you post a new message or reply, go to http://www.scubaboard.com/profile.php?do=editoptions
To stop receiving PM notifications:
Go to http://www.scubaboard.com/profile.php?do=editoptions and uncheck "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages". Click Save at the end of the page.
