For those not familiar with Bernie, he's the author of the book the Last Dive: A Father and Son's Fatal decent. Awesome must read for all divers.

I agree, that book is a must read. Even if you have no interest in the technical/deep diving aspects of diving. The book is more about an unhealthy buddy relationship and attitude towards each other.
