Great just what the world needs people walking on the bottom stirring up slit and crushing life. I'm PADI certified and the following paragraph just doesn't sit well with me.

"The largest market however are the outdoor activities where Underwater Walking is ideal for every place where tourists meet water, whether it is the sea, a pool or a lake. Especially between the Capricorn and Cancer tropic, circumstances are ideal! It is very important that you must use the right diving location. This means a place where you can place the equipment and the participant easily can enter the water with a sandy, not up dwelling bottom without obstacles and where participants meet some aquatic life."

Yeah gotta wonder how the area would be after people have been walking on it for ages.

It was done for more years than SCUBA has been around. SCUBA evolved from this type of diving.
