I tried a few underwater toys with not a lot of success with my students. Have you tried any?

I use to have an underwater frisbee. Really cool, but if you didn't have experience with it, it will go way up, too fast.

NOT GOOD :D

I'ved used those before. It's fun because it's like you're in the Matrix. You can do 360s and other cool tricks as you go for the frisbee. Of course you have to time it properly.

We had a blast with the frisbee at the end of one of our OW classes last year, and again when I was testing out my new gear at a "free for all" class before they certified.

The torpedo is easier to control, but the frisbee, with a little practice, is WAY more fun!

The toypedo is the ultimate underwater toy, you can get some real distance on it, and its pretty accurate.

Not to hijack this thread, but Buoyant1 you need another "T" in your counter. Unless you're going to an all you can eat concert instead of a Parrot(t) Head gathering.

My favorite underwater toy (after my dive buddy, poor soul) is a bowling ball. They're great to pass to and fro. It acts almost like a balloon. But be careful not to get one that's cork filled, it'll be a floater and not much fun~~~~~

Pue,

When I started reading your post, I thought to myself "this is going to be interesting" :evil_2:, of course I have only read the first four words at this point. Of course my mind is always :censored: so what can I say

NO, I was going to the grand opening of a new restaurant Jimmy's Buffet! (I can't believe I did that..and it's been there for so freaking long!) (April maybe?)

Thanks!
