I saw this at one of the local LDS in Pensacola. Here is the info if you are interested:

18th Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest, Raffle & Costume Party!

Who? You & Your favorite Dive Buddy!
What? The Greatest Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest of all time.
When? Saturday the 24th of October 2009

• Registration & Safety checks begin at 12:00 noon.
• Carving begins at 1:00 pm with a one hour time limit.
• Costume Party, Awards & Raffle begin at 6:00 p.m.

Where?

• Carving at Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze, FL (Across from the ball fields & near the public boat ramp).
• BBQ, Costume Party & Awards/Raffle at the Dive Pros (7203 Hwy 98 West, Pensacola, Fl.)

Why? To have lots of FUN & Support the Wounded Warrior Project!
How Much? $20.00 per team (entitles you to twenty raffle tickets) Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each. Individuals not entered into the Pumpkin Carving Contest who desire to purchase raffle tickets may do so for $1.00 per ticket.

The Rules of Play:

• 2 carvers per team at all times. Kids must be directly

supervised by an adult at all times.

• No cuts, holes, or punctures prior to the official start

signal. Drawing designs in advance is acceptable.

• Underwater carvers must do all work while

underwater. No beach touch ups after exiting.

• One-hour time limit.
• Divers must pass a pre-dive safety inspection.
• You must be present at judging to win.

• All contestants and raffle participants will have an equal

chance of winning after prizes are awarded to carving winners.
