Just a note that the OP scubasteve66 created two identically titled threads with identical initial posts back on 11/11/07, this one I'm posting in, in the forum Basic Scuba Discussions, and also http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/ge...ions/209714-underwater-navigation-device.html in the forum General Scuba Equipment Discussions.
Worse, both stayed alive for many years, this one last posted to just above in November 2009 regarding the announcement of the Navimate, the other thread continued through November 2012 with ongoing discussion of the Navimate, which remains vaporware as of this post.
BTW, the OP scubasteve66 hasn't been on the board since November 2009, three days after he created these two threads.
I'm suggesting that this thread be considered closed, and anything further be posted either in the other thread http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/ge...ions/209714-underwater-navigation-device.html, or in a new thread. Or at the very least, since there were two threads starting from the same post that went on for several pages, that they should mention each other in case anyone's curious about either.
