I wasn't sure where to put this, but I figure underwater treasure hunting would qualify as "Tech Diving" (it could get pretty technical don't you think?)

Does anybody know the "pecking" order of detectors? The Cadillac to Cavalier of detectors.

I think this would be fun.........

Do you have one?

What have you found?

I want to buy the right one the FIRST time. I dont want to waste money on up-grading!

Not yet at $700-1000.00 for a basic unit worth anything. I would love to give it a try a bit more than the few times I have been arounfd someone using a unit.
Technical diving---no its not,,,,BUT task loading it is!! :-)

I have a Whites but I purchased it before I started diving and it is only rated to 25'. If I had it to do over I would purchase the Minelab Excaliber.

I have heard the Tigar Shark from Teraro is a good unit.
