There is one function on the 50d that is not accessible using the C40 housing and that is live view shooting mode. But I never use that. Otherwise all functions are accessible. I should add this housing uses the Type 3 ports. I'm not selling my ports because I use them on my new housing. The Subal housings are incredible. It's simple and reliable.
