Thats funny that they cut off the end where the grouper went after the diver's head...! Perhaps they should have left it the full video so that others who might try this will know what really happens.

The groupers I've encountered in the Cayman sister islands are very friendly. They are like big puppies and they follow you and beg to be petted!

One of the favorite tricks to play on new crew members that came aboard the Bathyscaph Trieste II was to take bets on how deep the newbies thought an egg could go without cracking. Thankfully I came aboard as a diver so knew that the mostly liquid filled eggs were nearly incompressible, the shape of the shell was close to the idea external pressure vessel (a sphere), and the shell was permeable.

Most guesses were between 10 and 200'. Their look of amazement was always entertaining, and profitable, when all dozen eggs came back from a 6500' dive intact. Good thing, the cooks wanted them back. ;)

That trick was also successful on the Mark II Deep Dive System, but only worked on the ship's company. The most fun by far was taking money from new junior officers, which of course was against regulations. "But sir, it wasn't a bet. It was tuition for your hyperbaric education needed aboard this ship".
