I am performing a project on round gobies that nest in rubble/shipwrecks. I am in need of a camera that is small enough to enter the nest to take a picture of eggs with the male guard. I am envisioning an endoscope type apparatus that is thin and can be expanded into the hole with it's own lighting system.

does anyone have an idea where to get this type of equipment.
thanks

wow... that's a pretty specific piece of equipment! You might try and contact a retailer of underwater photo equipment for their recomendations. I'm sure it is out there b/c of all the nature programs and magazines that get those crazy shots inside a beaver dam or some crazy insect nest...
