Just an FYI for those diving in Playa in the near future...keep an eye out for the small stuff on your shallow dives. We're seeing lots of seahorses, pipe horses & pipefish on the sand as well as the reefs. On a dive last week, got to see all three - it made for an amazing & memorable dive day!

It takes patience to find these camouflaged fish, but it's well worth your time. In fact, they blend in so well that they often resemble small marine plants or other organic material on the reef. All the more reason to keep fins and bodies off the bottom to avoid crushing these beautiful fish. :)
