I just puchased my 1st drysuit (DUI CF200se, custom fit - God, I love saying that :D ) and I was wondering which SoftWear undergarments people prefered, the 1 or 2 piece style.

Also, what kind of fins do most of you shell suit divers wear? Right now I have Mares Avanti but I know they won't fit over the rock boots.

One piece for me (BARE CF). If I need more than one layer, I'll add a fleece or polyester piece under or over the undergarment.

I have the softwear one piece, it's one less piece for me to forget ;)

I would really like a set of the Diving Concepts stretch thinsulate undies, but I can buy 2 sets of custom fit softwear undies for the same price.

I get away with XL Jet fins on my size 10 Rock boots, they are a pain to get off at the end of the dive though.

Well I'm really going to have fun then, I've got a size 15 shoe.

I have the one piece 200g for the dives I've done so far. She also sells the 300g but I just layer if the need is there. I like the single piece versus two. Her booties are nice as well.

I can wear my XL Jets with my wetsuit, but with the dry, it's gotta be the Turtles.

....I decided not to fool around when diving in these COLD northeren waters. If it's too warm for the 300wt 'bunny suit' I wear a heavy sweat suit from the sporting goods store. We'll be diving at Gilboa in a couple weeks, and the sweat suit will probably get used a lot, except when we go down on the deep side.

I've got a Weezle Extreme undersuit - they come in one and two-piece. Mine is a one piece and I must say, I've never really considered buying a two-piece. The Weezle is probably just about the warmest undersuit you'll get and it comes in three thicknesses. The warmest one is the equivalent of a 400g suit, but is actually quite thin because it's so advanced.

As for fins - I've got Force Fins. There's loads of stuff on them in the Fins section. Aside from all the other good points about them, they have an open toe pocket, which makes them comfier.

I had a couple of friends with the same shoe problem. Try turtle fins they should be fine. My Avanti fit in my puny size 10 rock boots.

As for U/W, get a weezle. Extreme if it is cold water, compact if not. I will never go back from the DUI and the Weezle.

I wear a Weezle extreme (jumpsuit style), a pair of thick snowboarding socks and the Weezle booties.

Im warm and cosy.

When the water temp drops to around 6-8c i wear a thin woolen top underneath and very occasionally think tracksuit bottoms too.

What i like about the weezle is its wicking properties - my neck seal ships a fair amount of water every dive but the weezle keeps the water on the outside on the undersuit away from my skin. I dont get or feel wet at all and only notice when i remove the drysuit after a days diving.

Bare makes great under garments in several weights, I use the 100 something or other in BC during the summer and 100 weight fleece under it during the winter. This is in an Oceaner Millennium 4mm drysuit which is a type of pressed (crushed) neoprene.
