I generally wear a Henderson lycra Hotskin under the wetsuit. Makes tugging the wetsuit on a bit easier; neoprene slides over lycra much more easily than bare, and often sweaty, skin.

So far I just wear my swim suit under my wetsuit.

I like to wear the moisture wicking brief (94% nylon/6% spandex) that I picked up at REI ,
very comfortable , but modisty makes me wear swim shorts most times and just deal with tucking the legs down into the suit to smooth out the wrinkles

I wear a tankini. Don't have a body for a bikini anymore, and like wearing a 2 piece so I can use the head on the boat more easily. Know a lot of guys who go naked under their wetsuits, but that's mostly on boats with heads which is where they change.

Yeah... nothing is better than nothing. Unless it's some skanky rental wetsuit... yuck.

Hot skin. or spandex bike shorts under a shorty. quick drying and holds everything in place.
