North Stradbroke Island is an Australian island in the state of Queensland, 30 km southeast of the capital Brisbane.

Woman Found Unconscious On Boat Near North Stradbroke Island
A diver has been flown to hospital after falling unconscious in waters off North Stradbroke Island.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 40s, was diving near Flat Rock, northeast of the island, shortly before 8am on Friday.
She was with others on a commercial diving trip when she surfaced and fell unconscious in the water, a police spokesman said.
"She was pulled aboard the boat and the crew started CPR," he said

The boat met an ambulance crew at the island’s Amity Point jetty and the woman was transferred to the Emergency Management Queensland Rescue 500 helicopter shortly after 11am.
She was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
‘‘The patient was unconscious and in a critical condition,’’ a Department of Emergency Management Queensland spokeswoman said.

To my knowledge there is only one company that runs trips to that area on a Friday, and from my experience they have been really good. It would be great to get some more details of what happened to her....

I hope the woman makes a speedy recovery.

There is more than one company operating out off there. Believe incident was cardiac related.
