I saw something similar posted by Eric Cheng a while back, a flying inflatable/ultralight combination he was using with Jim Abernathy. As for me, I'd go for a refurb'd PBY as my ideal travelling dive platform.

The site says they don't think they are legal in the US and that is not true. A buddy of mine up in NC has a 2 seater that he does air tours of the Outer Banks on.
I've been on it several times and love it. How cool would it be to hop from key to key down here in S. Florida?!
