I've seen a few comments on the board about users unable to open up the UK100 bezel.

Ran into the problem myself a while back and after trying a few lubricants came across this: soft bees wax. I've used this a few times on my dry-glove rings and decided to give it a shot on my UK, which had started to bind.

Works like a charm! Thirty plus dives and the bezel is opening great. Just enough to 'polish' the plastic threads seems just fine and with so little there has been no issues with foreign matter sticking to the threads.

Not sure if the harder zipper wax will work as well, however.
