Rjack321 - who can do the exemption filing besides the mfg? I know you can do it yourself for cylinders you own. But the expense is ridiculous in most cases.
 
I assume this holds true in the other direction as well?

I've got some tanks with DOT and TC stamps that I was thinking about bringing to the UK. Does anybody in the UK know whether these can be filled/hydro'd in England?

Does this also apply to tanks moved among the EU countries?
 
When I moved to France from the USA in 95 I took my pony bottle with me. It had a current hydro and visual. I could get it filled at my dive club but I think they did on the sly.
