My dad wants to take a video course. He is not looking for a PADI course or something like that. He wants a professional kind of course. If anyone has or knows of one I will pass that info to him.

I can recommend a very, very good DVD for the beginning videographer. I just completed work on two documentaries for television and I even found some real use for this video, as well!
Annie Crawley put out a great DVD and the link for it is here.
It can be very difficult to find an actual class and instructor for this sort of thing, and this video is great even if you do. Annie's also very sweet and answers all email and questions you might have.

He is not a beginner, the dive shop uses his videos in the store on the tv. He has also had his videos used in tv productions. His budget would not be a problem.

If he's already doing it professionally, then why does he want to take a course? At this point he's probably not going to learn much from the average video instructor. If he's already had his work featured on television than he's probably ready for lessons from a major pro like Howard Hall or Mike DeGruy, and I don't think that's gonna happen. Of course, if his budget is open-ended then maybe it will...everyone's negotiable at some point.
Contact Mike at H2O Photo Pros in Los Angeles. I'd take lessons from him.
