I'm a Fish!
Hello Fellow Divers,

I will be working in the Dry Tortugas mid Jan to Feb 2006. I am interested in diving the U-2513 of the coast of the tortugas. I understand that it lays 214fsw and about 25 miles of the coast. Do enyone have information of this wreck. Any boat captains or charter do this dive? I will apreciate any information on this wreck and/or any other wrecks in the area.

Thanks,
Tony Cerezo

Thanks Mike,
I have ordered three days ago, but what about a boat to get there? Do you know of any boat captain Charter? I hear they hate us Tec Diver...... I do not know why?

Tony

It is a long trip, one that is only feasible on a liveaboard or multi-day trip. There are no regularly-scheduled walk-on charters available for a dive such as this. There are several boats receptive to a trip such as this, but you need to fill the whole boat.

Ultimate Getaway out of Ft. Myers
Headhunter Charters out of Ft. Myers Beach
Playmate Charters out of Key West
Tiburon Charters out of Key West

And there are also several other charter boats that typically do fishing or other charters who might be persuaded to run a special dive trip.

Typically, for trips such as this, plan on setting it up yourself, running it yourself, and be self-sufficient.
