I upgraded to a Whites Fusion drysuit so my Typhoon ProSport is up for sale:
Typhoon ProSport Mens Size Large (Max Chest: 44, Hgt: 62*, Hip: 45)
- Has attached booties (Size L) to use with rockboots.
- Apeks valves
- Two Golem Gear Tech style thigh pockets have been added. They have a Velcro flap and drain holes. They sell new for around $85 for the pair.
- I will include home-made dry gloves and rings, good for moderately cold water only.
This suit was purchased new at Divers Supply Charlotte on 6 Nov 2008.
Style # is 110138-19OL, Serial # 0605312-228.
Price is $385 firm.
Send your e-mail address for a number of detailed photos.
A few notes:
I would consider selling the rock boots that came with the suit (size 10 US) however you can use any brand that fits. Some people have good luck using Converse High Tops. Undergarment is not included but I might part with that too if youre interested (at additional cost)
The seals are in good shape however the neck seal might be a little stretched. This is a regular maintenance item that you should plan on replacing after a time anyway. If your neck is over 15 ½ inches the seal might work fine as is for a while. The cost to replace a neck seal is $75 at Gambles (not including shipping). The price of the suit has been adjusted to take this into account. I would say the wrist seals have a lot of life left in them.
I would prefer to sell locally (Lake Norman NC) however I will ship to CONUS at your expense. (Only actually shipping charge)
*While Typhoon says that the large size suit is good for people up to 62, I think 6 might be more realistic for max height. If you are over 6 feet tall I suggest you try the suit (or an identical one) before purchasing.
