I'm a Fish!
Is there any danger in diving a tank that was filled two years ago?

No danger at all from "old" gas. This has been discussed many times. Consensus is ancient gas stored in a tank that was in good shape to begin with remains safe to breathe, even after many years. Two years is nothing compared with some of the tanks people have used.

Totally agree with @Lorenzoid. However, there is a 'gotcha'.

If your last fill was wet then you gave the contents two years to rust into a hypoxic mixture. Chance of that? Almost nil.

As the OP identified him/herself as a solo diver, I'd suggest picking up a dead O2 analyzer for cheap and buying a new cell. Peace of mind.

A lot of people dive with tanks that have been filled for much longer.

Risk? There is always a risk. What that risk is in this case is corrosion. Nothing to do with the structure of the tank. But oxygen consumed as the metal corrodes. Won't put anything bad in the air, just take away the oxygen. No corrosion, the air will still be good. As long as it was a good fill, there should not be any corrosion. If you have a Nitox tester, just make sure the O2 still reads good.

Analyse it, taste it, and if it's good then breathe it.
