Am I asking too much?
I've been quite comfortable, here in Seattle's Puget Sound (even at 42F), in my rental DeepSee 6.5mm farmer john/jacket "old-school" two-piece wet suit. However, I may move back to Maui in the next few years. I'm hoping there's a 7mm full suit / 5mm shortie combo out there somewhere that will keep me warm here and allow me to use the shortie there. I've never seen such a thing, so I'm guessing manufacturers have found this combo too restrictive in the shoulders. Any feedback will be appreciated.
Also, I'm traveling to England two weeks from now. I'd love to do some diving there, but I'm not trained in dry suit diving. Are the water temps there in the 40-50F range? My "English" wife says the weather is very much like what we experience here in Seattle, but the "weather" below the waves is likely different. Any experience?
Thanks in advance for any info,
Brennan
