Two harbors diving for a day

Are there any recommendations for a day of diving from Two Harbors? The Garibaldi won't be running, so a couple of considerations are to rent kayaks and paddle to a cove or two nearby, or do some beach dives. We are both OW certified for about a year with twenty dives under our belts. Probably diving this monday or tuesday. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked with the shop there for suggestions/ideas? How far are you willing to paddle? My biggest concern would be boat traffic -- it gets nuts out there in the summer.

I could wait to get there and check with the dive shop, see what the conditions are like at the moment. Thanks for the head's up about the boat traffic. I forgot about that possiblilty.
