Happy to report back a good experience with two fish Lembeh. I had just 3 nights, 7 dives. It's my first time in Lembeh, a stopover in my way home from Raja Ampat.

I guess the most important thing is the diving, and in that regards everything is well run. Dive sites are planned out the night before on a whiteboard, but in general every site has plenty of critters. Dive boats have plenty of space, even a sea toilet. There is a camera tub of course. DMs are all local and friendly, but human. They say up to 75 minutes bottom time, but on some occasions we surfaced at 65ish minutes even though group had plenty of air left. Nitrox is available. Dives sites are 15-20 minutes away max.

I saw a lot in just 2 full days of diving. Blue ring octopus, hairy frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish...the usual suspects. To give you an example, we went on a "seahorse dive" to find a pigmy seahorse: we found 7, including a yellow one (and many other critters on that dive aswell).

The resort itself is a nice property overall. The eating area, sitting areas etc are actually quite grand. I had the cheapest room on the resort and it was very basic, even a bit ragged, but was clean, had a hot shower and cold AC! I can't complain coming from 2 weeks at a homestay! Food was pretty good, not generally spectacular, but something i looked forward to after my dives. Good variety!
They seemed to clean the beach daily, because I didn't notice any excess trash lying around, beach was very clean. Surprising after all the chatter about trash in Lembeh.

Good place, great people, would go back.
