Two french divers died on Sunday 28th while diving in lake Lucerne in central Switzerland. According to the media, they were diving in a team of three (two brothers age 22 and 24, a third diver age 30). According to police they were planning to dive possibly to 60 meters. The oldest diver appears to have had some issues, broke off the dive, and was able to surface on his own. The others did not surface.

Lake Lucerne is a very deep lake (214 meters at its deepest) and police are using underwater cameras to find the bodies. One has been found yesterday at 101 meters and was recovered today. They are still searching for the second one.

I thot it might be a high altitude dive, but Wiki says it's at an elevation of 434 m (1,424 ft). 60 meters deep in cold water; got to wonder how prepared they were?
